Profile Template
When you edit a profile in HWWiki it appears as below in the first example. This is because the profiles use a template to ensure that all the profiles have a uniform appearance.
The template is called in the first line with {{Student|.
The next line then follows with the first variable, Name=Character Name. The variable is stopped by the "|" on the next line.
This continues until the last variable, which depending on the profile is either Appearance, Image1, or Image2. The last variable is closed off with }} which closes the variable as well as the entire template.
Nothing should be entered on a profile page that is not inside the template.
Each variable is then taken by the Wiki and parsed forming the page that you see when you view a profile. Before saving the page, preview it and be sure that everything is correct before saving.
To help to show family history that has been added to the family tree part of the site in the Wiki there are two variables which when placed into the profile create three links in the profile. The Parents and Siblings titles link to the Family Overview, while underneath the characters name "Name's Family Tree" appears. If the character is in the Family Tree and you would like to add these links the two variables are I and F. The variable for I is the number in the PersonID (PersonID minus the I). For F it is the number in the FamilyID (FamilyID minus the F), if the character is an adult and has children there will be two FamilyIDs on the page, the familyID that you would then choose would be the first FamilyID.

Below is a blank example that includes all the variables which are used in the Student Template. The Professor Template is slightly different, but the same basics apply. Following the first example is what it looks like when parsed by the Wiki.
