Background: Descended for the original Faust who made a literal deal with the Devil, the Faust line has dedicated itself to undoing the evil done by the original Faust. Everyone in the Faust family has either been apprenticed within the family or attended Durmstang since the 15th Century. Heinrich's brother Dolph was the first to break that particular tradition. Seeing how well the school was doing for him, Dietrich Faust decided to send his youngest son as well.According to Dolph, the decision was entirely Heinrich's and designed to ruin Dolph's life. Heinrich is the seventh son of a seventh son and great things are expected from him. He has always had a life of wealth and privilege but the problems he experiences with his magic have made him appreciate the value of hard work.
Personality: Although he dresses like an anarchist, Heinrich is actually not as much of a rebel as he appears. He is very much into personal rights, something that did not have gone over well in Durmstrang. He is a devoted friend once his friendship is won. He dislikes bullies. He is fluent in English, French and German. To relax he plays electric guitar. He considers his father's opinion of his ability to be far more important than the opinion of his teachers. His faith in his own ability to do magic is wobbly. Although he has the spirit and nature to do well in duels, his actual ability falls short. Given the chance he'd chose a 'lore' duel over a spell duel, because his knowledge of the history of magic in general and the Faust family in particular is vast.
Likes: Alternative music, snowboarding, fast cars (His pride and joy is a white 2001 Porsche 911 with a large black anarchy symbol on the hood.)
Dislikes: being called a Nazi and may react violently. Bullies.
Academic Outlook: Heinrich is an anomaly. The harder he works, the worse he does. Performance anxiety a major portion of this. He excels at purely informational subjects, however.
Quirks: Heinrich is a 'technomancer', a rare wizard with the ability to affect Muggle technology. His magic seems to work better on technology than it does on natural materials. He does well in any purely informational subject, such as HOM, COMC, DADA, Herbology and Potions. By far his best subject is History of Magic.
Counter Quirks: Heinrich is below average in any subject that involves the casting of spells due to his difficult with using magic through the normal methods. He has experienced limited success using the Faustian 'Tradition', an alternative magical form.
Appearance: Heinrich has nine piercings, one in each eyebrow, two in each ear, a pierced tongue and both nipples. He likes to hint about another piercing but no proof of it has ever been produced. Unlike the rest of the Fausts, he is dark haired and of smaller stature.
