Background: Charon Alikakos is the Prince without lands or any real function-besides, dear old dad is still alive and kicking. Basically it translates into money. The Alikakos family moved to Athens about ten years ago after Ebony expressed an interest in having a winter home there. They still retain a house in a less touristy area of Greece. Charon was never one to deny his wife anything, so he bought a flat there. Charon farms olives, or rather; he pays other people to farm them and supervises when he can. His other occupations are mainly financial, as he likes to play with his money and make it grow. He travels a great deal and has many investments around the world.
Ebony and Charon have two children. The oldest is Evadne; a little Princess in her own right and the youngest is Alexander. Ebony has another child, Bryan, by another man. Older than the other two by about ten years, he has long since graduated and gone on to other things. Eva and Alex grew up lacking for nothing; in fact they had a good deal more than a child really needs. Somewhat starved for affection from their own parents, Ebony and Charon are rather indulgent of their children. These are children who regularly got whatever they wanted.
They have traveled a great deal, most frequently trips to England to visit the Damodred family. The Damodreds-Kieran, Ketara and Kyros-are the children of one of Ebony and Charon's best friends and the relationship has remained close. They did like England and the Damodred children, so the were somewhat disappointed when sent to Durmstrang. Some recent disappointments in the governors there caused Ebony to pull her two youngest out of the school and to send them to Hogwarts instead.
A year of Hogwarts done and Eva has certainly made her mark. Evadne Alikakos is well known as one of the more interesting' girls in the school. She is very attractive and her often flirtatious demeanor garners a lot of attention. It hasn't been an easy year though as her close friend Indra Carradon went through a dark period of depression and her brother had to suffer his first love. Eva, for her part, had only brief romances and seemed to concentrate on defining her role in Slytherin and what friends she could make there.
She has also started to truly come into one of her more unique talents. Eva and her brother Alex once shared abilities that can best be called precognition (AKA visions of the future—or possible futures). Through an encounter with a spirit that tried to steal Alex's body Eva found herself left with all of the talent and nearly lost her mind because of that. This coming year she will have to work with professors in order to learn how to protect herself from seeing the future.
Personality: Eva can have a horrible temper, though it is somewhat inexplicable as to what will actually set her off—of course sometimes she is just in a bad mood and will use her wicked tongue without just cause. She is a very enigmatic personality and doesn't often let people in beyond the surface. She loves to play with people and has very few qualms about lying, cheating or unleashing the full force of a quick mind to get what she wants. Thankfully she usually isn't terribly vicious about it. Her ambition, what there is of it, is often misdirected. She has always been treated like a little princess by her family so it is understandable that she is selfish and demanding.
She is quite clever, confident and can even be very charming when she puts her mind to it. She is something of a flirt and rarely gets embarrassed by anything she or someone else does. Her family is a proud one and her opinion of herself is very high. If need be she'll take other people down a few notches, because really, there is no point in little the little prats get the wrong idea. She is very protective of the people who she has come to love and is actually quite a good friend, if you get her' that is. She is comforted by touch and so is rather marked in her tendency to wrap herself around certain people. She is very stubborn and does hold grudges and can be quite quick to decide she doesn't like someone. She is very private about her feelings unless she trusts a person enough to be honest.

Dislikes: Overly happy people, feeling invisible or stupid, muggle studies, England, visions of possible future and the pain it causes
Academic Outlook: If Evadne is interested in a subject, she will dedicate as much time to it as possible. However, if something does not interest her, she will avoid it at all costs. While she wants to make her parents proud and do well in school, she doesn't always put as much time into her work as she should.
Quirks: Evadne has always been very into her writing, as well as history and quidditch. She also has a quick tongue.
Counter Quirks: At times she can come across a bit snobby, though she tries not to be, and she's a bit moody and indecisive at times.
Appearance: Evadne has black hair with a slight wave to it when it is longer, she is very conscious of style of the length and cut changes throughout the year. She has deep blue eyes, like cobalt or ultramarine that are framed with dark lashes. Her skin tone is not terribly pale, owing to the swarthy olive of her father—however, her mother was Irish and quite fair. She has a few freckles but probably won't keep them all her life. She has a soft, pretty face with full lips, a small rounded nose and almond shaped eyes. She has a somewhat athletic build and is quite curvy. She takes after her mother more than her father for her looks.
