Background: John was born and raised in Australia, a muggle in a typical Aussie muggle family. He lived a rather happy existence with his 3 brothers and other muggle friends and has always been an intelligent and hardworking man. In his early 20's, John met Michelle. Michelle was born and raised in San Diego and went to an American wizarding academy. She went to Australia to play on a traveling quidditch team and while exploring muggle cities with friends, stumbled upon John. It was love at first sight, and quite a shock for John when he eventually found out! Daniel has been home schooled all his life prior to attending Hogwarts. Since his sister Kara was accepted to Hogwarts, his parents made sure that he could go there too.
Personality: Rather outgoing and talkative, Daniel looks up to Kara, though he will only admit it on extremely rare occasions. He isn't very athletic, but will often do things with his sister (like shoot pucks at her in goal, shoot the quaffle at her, hike with her, etc). He has a natural intelligence, more so than his sister, but has an even stronger dislike for the homework. When he sets his mind to it, he's very determined and his intelligence often manifests itself in that manner. He's often very messy and unorganized. He makes a great friend and is always ready to lend a helping hand. He has many muggle and wizarding friends.
Likes: Hanging out with friends, playing quidditch, playing hockey, learning new musical instruments, computer games, video games
Dislikes: homework, bossy people, bullies
Academic Outlook: He is quite intelligent and scores well on tests, but struggles to get the homework done. Because of his feet dragging with regards to homework, it effects his grades.
Quirks: He's a very talented cook and loves anything to do with food. He also is quite intelligent, to the point that homework bores him. Because of its similarity to cooking, he enjoys Potions and generally does the homework.
Counter Quirks: Has a severe lack of drive in doing homework, no knack at all for divination or any sort of fortune telling type courses
Appearance: He hasn't yet hit his main growth spurt and is quite youthful. He has mopish, usually messy brown hair and hazel eyes with a hint of green. He stands about 5'4" and is skinny and a bit scrawny. When not in his school uniform, he's usually in fairly standard muggle boy attire.
